EDFAS Lone Star Chapter,
Thank you all for your participation in 2007. Your membership and participation has made our Chapter a success. During 2007, we have had many highlights including 7 technical meetings, several meetings available via Web EX, attendence of 30-50 members per meeting, and joint meetings with local societies including ASM and IEEE.
We would like to take the time to thank our Corporate Sustaining Members which include Gatan, Hitachi, JEOL, Leeds, Microtech Analytical Labs, and Zeiss. There support has been continuous throughout the year.
In 2008, the executive council has plans in place for growth. We are working towards expanding the executive council by creating additional positions. We are inviting top notch speakers to promote excellence in technical field. In addition, we are creating a student scholarship in support of our youth. We are looking forward to an exceptional year.
